About 345 Design & Construction

Design-build remodeling and new homes in Eastern North Carolina

345 Design & Construction is a licensed and insured design-build general contractor in New Bern, NC. Since 2011 the team has remodeled kitchens and bathrooms and built additions, Carolina rooms and decks across Eastern North Carolina, with designers on staff to guide every selection, and now builds new homes as well.

We know what it's like to want the house changed and dread the process. The selections, the strangers in your home, the worry that the budget won't hold. 345 Design & Construction was started for exactly that frustration: homeowners who wanted real choices and someone organized enough to keep every promise.

Mike started 345 Design & Construction in 2011 after years in management, and runs it as a licensed and insured general contractor. Designers on staff help you choose every finish and show you 3D renderings before anything is built. Budget and timeline are set at the proposal, and allowance packages let you customize your selections and still stay inside both.

What our customers say

345 Design & Construction came into our project after work had already begun. Mike calmed our frustrations and anxiety levels that he would make it right and he did! From finishing demolition, to prepping the work area, laying of tile (floor and shower), extending the shower, and finishing touches, all phases we could not be any happier. I highly recommend 345 Design & Construction to complete your project.
Stephen · Master bathroom remodel
Mike's work was far and above my expectations. I would recommend him to work for anyone. He is an excellent contractor.
William · Bathroom remodel
Mike is organized and detail-oriented, but, above all, great at listening to what you want, and everyone he has brought into our home to help with projects has provided quality work. I do not see myself working with another company for future projects and would recommend him to anyone.
Nicole · Whole home remodel
Great job on our kitchen and bathroom remodel, Mike with 345 Design & Construction really listened to us, and met our needs and then some, while staying within budget. This is the best kitchen I've ever cooked in, and it looks great, too. Can't recommend this firm any more highly.
Jerry · Kitchen and two bathroom remodels
